A Historic Milestone for Global Kho Kho
From 2–6 June 2026, Wanzhi, China witnessed a landmark chapter in the international growth of Kho Kho with the Kho Kho Invitation Tournament & Technical Workshop.
A proud moment as WUHU established the first fully furnished Kho Kho playing court in China, creating a strong foundation for the sport's future in the region.
Delegates from Russia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Morocco, and China participated in the Technical Workshop, while teams from China, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia competed in the Invitation Tournament.

The event was further strengthened by the presence of 15 government officers and delegates from China, reflecting growing institutional support for the sport.
IKKF President Sudhanshu Mittal lauded the remarkable efforts of AKKF and extended his best wishes for the continued expansion of Kho Kho across Asia and beyond. The program was graced by M. Sathasivam, General Secretary, AKKF, and Dr. M.S. Tyagi, Secretary Technical, IKKF, who closely observed the sessions and guided participants throughout the workshop.
This successful initiative stands as a testament to the vision, dedication, and tireless efforts of the federation in taking Kho Kho to new international frontiers. With every new court, workshop, and tournament, the sport continues to inspire, connect nations, and strengthen its global footprint.
